Now in stock at NRF, Solid White Oak and Hickory from BSL! At Long last BSL has entered the realm of White Oak and Hickory solid. Expect the product in stock at NRF in the 3 1/4", 4 1/4", and 5 1/4" widths, available in both the Signature and Nano finish. 2 1/4" is available upon accumulation.
Every dealer with a Nano Pacific Display or a Signature Pacific Display will have an update made available to them by end of year. The update will be two boards for each display, a board of Natural White Oak and a board of Natural Hickory.
The official grade sheet from BSL labels both products as "Pacific Grade". What that means for White Oak is that you can expect a grade similar to a #1 Common & Better Grade. Pacific Grade Hickory will be colorful and have sound knots. Overall, I'd expect both grades to meet the discerning tastes of the White Oak and Hickory consumer.
